
Adnan Sami Khan, a singer and musician who renounced his Pakistani citizenship and adopted Indian nationality, has been awarded the highest civilian award ‘Padma Shri’ by the Indian government.

Singer and musician Adnan Sami Khan has been awarded the highest civilian award for his services to the world of music.
Other Padma Shri Award recipients include actress Kangana Ranaut, filmmaker Karan Johar and producer Ekta Kapoor.
