Middle batsman of national cricket team Umar Akmal left for America on Friday morning.
The young cricketer said in his message on social networking site Twitter that
He was going to the United States for personal meetings, he needed the prayers of his supporters as he always did.
Cricketer Umar Akmal sat on the plane and shared photos of the boarding pass.
Cricket Pakistan has revealed in its report that Umar Akmal, who represents Central Punjab, will also play matches during his stay in the United States.
The report further said that Omar Kamal wants to get a long-term contract in the United States like opener Sami Aslam.
It may be recalled that Sami Aslam had left Pakistan at the end of the last year of 2020 after being ignored from the tour.
Umar Akmal was convicted by a disciplinary panel in April 2020 for violating Article 2.4.4 of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code and banned from playing cricket for three years.
In August this year, the PCB allowed the cricketer to play domestic cricket under the Rehab program.
It should be noted that Umar Akmal has played 16 Tests, 121 ODIs and 84 T20 matches for Pakistan in which he has scored 1,03, 3,194 and 1,650 runs respectively.
