Rawalpindi: Pakistan has won its first gold medal in the Chief of Army Staff Pakistan Open International Taekwondo Championship.

Competitions are underway in the Chief of Army Staff Pakistan Open International Taekwondo Championship and Pakistan’s Haroon Khan won the first gold medal by defeating Mehdi Ishaq of Iran after an interesting competition.

The Flyweight 58kg final was decided by 23 and 24 points in the last second.

President of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation Lieutenant Colonel Wasim Janjua congratulated Haroon Khan on winning the gold medal for Pakistan.
