LAHORE: Former national cricket team legend and wife of Sultan Wasim Akram of Swing, Shanira has appealed to the citizens after the closure of a restaurant in Karachi.

In a message on Twitter, Shanira Akram wrote that indoor restaurants in Karachi have been closed once again due to which the staff is once again facing the threat of unemployment.

As Karachi closes its doors for in house dining & staff face risk of unemployment yet again,a reminder that being rude or harsh to wait staff, is as low as you can go. Remember they are so proud of the job they have and although they serve you, they are not in anyway beneath you!

“I’d like to make a reminder here, please!” You should avoid being rude and inappropriate with staff.

“Remember that they are very proud of their work and although they serve you, they are by no means your slaves,” he added.
