TASHKENT: Pakistani weightlifter Talha Talib has made history by winning a bronze medal at the World Weightlifting Championships.

At the ongoing Weightlifting World Championships in Tashkent, Pakistani weightlifter Talha Talib won a bronze medal by lifting 143kg in the 67kg snatch category.

He managed to win the first medal for Pakistan in the event but could not complete the competition in Pakistani weightlifter clean and jerk.

It should be noted that this is the first medal of Pakistan in the history of World Weightlifting Championship.
