ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for Saudi Arabia today where he will attend the launch of the ‘Middle East Green Initiative’.

According to Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar, Prime Minister Imran Khan has been invited by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman for a three-day visit.

The Prime Minister would also discuss the challenges facing developing countries due to climate change while the Prime Minister would hold bilateral meetings with the Saudi leadership.

Asim Iftikhar said that economic and trade relations, opportunities for Pakistani workers would be discussed, regional and international issues from both sides would be discussed while the Prime Minister would also attend a function to promote investment.

The Foreign Office spokesman further said that the Prime Minister would meet with major Saudi investors, businessmen and the Pakistani community while the visit of the Prime Minister would further expand Pak-Saudi relations and cooperation.
