ISLAMABAD: Academy Award winning director Sharmeen Obaid Chennai will make a documentary on Pakistani cricket.
According to media reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board will provide support for the documentary, which will cover 70 years of Pakistani cricket.
The film dates back to 1954 when cricket appeared on the national horizon in Pakistan. Then won the first Test match.
Imran Khan emerged as a player in the 1970s and in 1992 Pakistan won the Cricket World Cup. The documentary will show the rise and fall of Pakistani cricket and will also cover the launch of Pakistan Super League.
