New York: Priyanka Chopra, a well-known Indian actress, has revealed that she is now receiving a salary equal to that of the male actor in her project for the first time in her 22-year film career.
The actress has frequently voiced her opinions over the inadequate pay received by female artists in the film industry.
In a recent interview, Priyanka Chopra said
I have been in the industry for twenty-two years and I have done more than seventy feature films and two T-shows.
He said that for the first time in my life in the ‘Citadel web series, I am getting paid as much as my fellow male artists.
She said that in the new project, I spent the same amount of time as in the previous ones, but I was paid less.
