Lahore: India won the bronze medal in the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy match played in Bangladesh by defeating Pakistan.
Traditional rivals clashed for the third and fourth positions of the event played in Dhaka. During the thrilling match, India defeated the Green Shirts by 4 goals to 3.
Akash Desh Singh, Varun Kumar, Samat, Manpreet Singh from India scored, Ahmed Nadeem, Junaid, Arfraz from Pakistan threw the ball into the net.
After defeating Pakistan, the Indian team won the bronze medal of the event.
