10 countries of the world are responsible for 80% of climate change, Imran Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan blamed ten countries of the world for 80% of climate change. He said that if the security of Saudi Arabia was threatened, Pakistan would stand by it. There is only one dispute with India and that is Kashmir issue.

Addressing the Middle East Green Initiative Conference in Riyadh, Prime Minister Imran Khan blamed 10 countries of the world for 80% of climate change. He said that Pakistan was taking steps to tackle climate change.

Addressing the Pak-Saudi Business Forum, the Prime Minister clarified that we have only one dispute with India and that is the Kashmir issue. Good relations with India are not possible without independence.

“Pakistan defeated India in a cricket match last night. This is not the right time to talk about improving relations with India, but I think we can solve the problem like two civilized neighbors,”

he said.

Expressing his determination to stand by the brotherly country of Saudi Arabia in every difficult time, the Prime Minister said, “I assure Saudi Arabia that I do not know what the whole world does whenever there are security threats but Pakistan will stand by Saudi Arabia.”

Imran Khan said that

Relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are of a special nature, Saudi Arabia has always stood by Pakistan in difficult times, we will not back down.

On the other hand, Biden’s representative John Kerry called on the Prime Minister. Imran Khan highlighted the challenges facing developing countries due to climate change and Pakistan’s steps to address them.

The US envoy praised Pakistan’s response to climate change.

Imran Khan says global efforts are needed to combat the threat of climate change. Expressing satisfaction at the inaugural meeting of the US-Pakistan Climate Working Group, he said that the sharing of expertise and technology against climate change should continue.

The meeting agreed to liaise closely for an effective framework for Pak-US cooperation.
