Armed Forces expressed its condolences on the demise of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan.

RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa while expressing grief over the demise of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan said that Dr Qadeer rendered invaluable services for strengthening the defense of Pakistan.

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and all Service Chiefs also expressed deep regret.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa paid homage to the late and prayed that Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of Dr Abdul Qadir. Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar and Naval Chief Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi also expressed their condolences over the death of Dr Khan.

It should be noted that renowned nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadir met Khaliq Haqiqi this morning. The entire nation was in mourning over his death. The national flag has been lowered.

All the important personalities of the country including President Arif Ali and Prime Minister Imran Khan have also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the death of the renowned nuclear scientist.

Dr. Khan will be buried with full national honors. He made Pakistan an invincible state by detonating a nuclear bomb in 1998. His services will always be remembered.
