British air hostesses will now also wear scarves.

London: British Airways, the national airline of the United Kingdom, has included scarves for the first time in the uniform of air hostesses.

According to details, British Airways has prepared a hijab uniform for its Muslim female staff, in this regard, the spokesperson of the company says that we have also prioritized dhangri, kurta and scarf for female employees in our uniform collection.

According to the report of the foreign news agency, the spokesperson said that along with this uniform, the female staff in the plane can also wear a scarf along with the full dress and this step has been taken for the first time.

A statement released by the British airline said that the company is making comprehensive changes to its employees’ uniforms after nearly 20 years. We plan to make some changes to the uniforms of about 30,000 employees starting this spring.

The statement added that the uniform of male employees will consist of three parts. Suit pants will come in both slim and regular pant styles.

Dresses, skirts, and trousers, as well as dhangris, kurtas, and scarves, have been allowed for the first time in the uniform of female employees.

Sean Doyle, director of British Airways, said: “This uniform is a symbol of confidence that the UK has a bright future and we want to create something that our staff can be proud of.”
