Karachi: Comedy King Omar Sharif was buried in the premises of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine. His funeral prayers were offered in Clifton, which was attended by a large number of fans and fellow artists, including political and social figures.
According to sources, the body of legendary actor Omar Sharif was brought to Karachi today. After his funeral prayers, he was buried in the premises of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine while a large number of people attended the funeral.
Earlier, Omar Sharif’s body was flown to Karachi from Germany. The body was wrapped in khaki national flag and shifted to Edhi mortuary. Funeral prayers of the legendary actor were offered at 3 pm.
Fans showered flower petals on the body of legendary actor Omar Sharif.
Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani said that arrangements for the funeral prayers of Omar Sharif are complete, he is in constant touch with the heirs of Omar Sharif, will do everything possible to help, the actors remained prominent among those who made Pakistan famous all over the world.

Every effort is being made to provide facilities to his family while an institution will also be named after Omar Sharif.
