LAHORE: The High Court (HC) has reserved its judgment on the application for dismissal of the case against singer Mesha Shafi after completion of arguments of lawyers.
Justice Tariq Saleem of Lahore High Court heard the petition of Mesha Shafi in which the singer challenged the FIA case against her.
During the hearing, Mesha Shafi’s lawyer Hina Jilani raised an objection and claimed that actor Ali Zafar had filed a case so that the defamation suit in the Sessions Court could be affected.
The case was registered without hearing Mesha’s position.
