Johi Chawla fined Rs 2 million.

The Delhi High Court has rejected actress Johi Chawla’s petition against the use of 5G technology in India and imposed a fine of Rs 2 million.

According to NDTV, the Delhi High Court in its judgment said that the actress shared the case and court proceedings on social media for cheap fame.

According to the order, plaintiff Johi Chawla shared the link of the hearing on social media, which disrupted the proceedings three times. Delhi Police will take action after identifying the culprits.

“We, you and 5G, if you think this is of any concern to you in any way, feel free to join our first virtual hearing,”

Johi wrote in Wednesday’s Instagram post.

Johi, along with two others (Veerish Malik and Tina Wachani), had filed a lawsuit alleging that 5G technology would cause “irreparable damage” to the environment.

Birds, insects and plants will not be exposed to radiation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The actress wanted a certified and secure test of the technology.
