MUMBAI: Bollywood’s King Khan’s son Aryan Khan has been sent to jail on a 14-day judicial remand after his bail application was rejected.
According to Indian media reports, the court granted bail to Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a case of taking drugs during a Rio party on a cruise ship. Rejected.
The verdict in Aryan Khan’s case will be announced on Friday. Earlier, the actor’s son’s lawyer had applied for interim bail which was rejected by the court magistrate. After the bail was rejected, Aryan Khan and seven others Has been sent to jail on judicial remand.
It may be recalled that on the 3rd of this month, Shah Rukh Khan’s son was arrested on drug charges. Aryan Khan was taken into custody by the NCB after raiding a party on a cruise off the coast of Mumbai.
After Aryan Khan’s arrest, NCB sources said that
All the arrested persons and the two drug dealers were allegedly in touch with each other on WhatsApp and used code words in the chat.
According to media reports, Aryan Khan has been arrested under sections 8C, 20B, 27 and 35 of the NDPS Act, in which he could face up to 20 years in prison.
Section 8C is a case of buying and selling drugs and if convicted, Aryan could face up to six months to 10 years in prison. Section 20B is a case of possession of marijuana, marijuana and drugs Aryan Khan could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
