Mario Savio was a famous American activist. He was born on December 8, 1942, in New York City, New York, U.S. He died on November 6, 1996, at the age of 53 in Sebastopol, California, U.S. He was well known for his speeches (“Bodies Upon the Gears”) and activism work. He was also a key member of the Berkeley Free Speech Movement. He married to Suzanne Goldberg (m. 1965 – d. 72) and Lynne Hollander (m. 1980).
