Haji Kaleemullah has been working on mango cultivation and production for the last 65 years.
Lucknow: Haji Kaleemullah Khan, 81, of Malihabad, is also known as “Mango Man” because he has set a world record by growing 300 different varieties of mangoes simultaneously on a single mango tree.
He has also been awarded the Padma Shri by the Indian government in 2008 for this achievement.
Haji Kaleemullah Khan explains that he grew a tree that gave seven varieties of mangoes in 1957 when he was 17 years old and after failing in the seventh grade, he started cultivating mangoes in his backyard full time Were affiliated.

Said Kaleemullah Khan.
After gaining experience and prominence in mango cultivation for the next 30 years, in 1987 he decided to complete his unfinished boyhood project once again.
This time, however, he chose a mango tree in his backyard that was 100 years old and very large.
They would cut the branches of different types of mango trees and shape them into pens and put them on one of the branches of the tree.
On average, they add a new type of pen to the tree each month. And finally, in about twenty-five years, the tree was able to produce more than 300 varieties of mangoes at a time, which was also recorded in India’s Lamka Book of Records.
Today, the tree is so big that 15 people can easily have a picnic under its shade, while its thousands of branches are spread far and wide.
Haji Kaleemullah Khan has been nicknamed the “Mango Man” for his love of mangoes and his extraordinary skill in cultivating mangoes.
Some people object that this deed of Kaleemullah Khan is just a show which has no financial benefit. But others say the benefits of everything should not be weighed against the scales of money.
It should be noted that growing many varieties of mangoes on one tree is an old hobby of mango growers all over the world while the production of three to four varieties of mangoes on one tree is very common.
