Riz Ahmed, a British actor of Pakistani origin, and Deepika Padukone, a Bollywood actress, will present the award at the Oscars ceremony in 2023.
The Dolly Theater in Los Angeles will host the 95th Academy Awards ceremony on March 12.
Both Pakistani and Indian artists will perform alongside Hollywood stars such as Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, and Michael B. Jordan, among others.
The Oscars’ official social media account announced the list of people who will present the awards at the ceremony.
Deepika Padukone announced the news to her fans on Instagram and expressed her joy at the actress’ success.
