KARACHI: Actress Mahwish Hayat has slammed Indian filmmakers for making anti-Islam and anti-Pakistan films.
According to media reports, Mahwish Hayat wrote on social media that Surya Vanshi is the latest film to promote Islamophobia in Bollywood. The tide has turned in Hollywood and I hope India will follow suit. If not a positive reflection, then show justice to Muslims.

It should be noted that Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s new film Surya Vanshi depicts Muslims in a very negative way. The film depicts a group of police officers chasing the accused in the Mumbai attacks in an objectionable manner.
