Recently, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, in an interview, spoke about his experiences with playing smaller and supporting roles in films.
He stated that, at the beginning of his film career, he had done many of these roles; however, he is now no longer interested in them, even if offered a large sum of money.
He went on to explain that money and fame should be pursued through good work and the right attitude, and if achieved, will follow one as their “slaves”.
After playing several significant smaller roles in films, Siddiqui is now working on a lead role in a Hollywood movie.
He has stated that, early in his film career, he performed in small roles in many films. Now, however, he does not desire to take on these roles, even if offered a sum of 25 crore rupees.
