Rafael Nadal Wins Italian Open Tennis Tournament for Tenth Time.

Rome: Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal has won the Italian Open tennis tournament.

 

Rafael Nadal defeated world number one and Serbian defending champion Novak Djokovic in the men’s singles final to win the title for the tenth time.

 

Exciting matches of the Italian Open took place at the Furu Atalico Sports Complex, Rome, with world number one Novak Djokovic of Serbia competing against Spanish tennis star and former world number one Rafael Nadal in the men’s singles final.

Rafael Nadal’s victory score was 5-7, 6-1 and 3-6.

 

Earlier in the second semi-final of the tournament, world number two Rafael Nadal, 34, of Spain, had the honor of playing in the final by defeating Riley Opelka of the United States in straight sets.

 

It should be noted that Rafael Nadal has the honor of winning the Italian Open tournament a maximum of 10 times.

Nadal, 34, has said he will now take to the field in France on May 30 to defend the French Open tennis tournament.
