Biography

Malala Yousafzai is a famous Pakistani female education activist. She was born on July 12, 1997, in Mingora, North-West Frontier Province, Pakistan. She is also known as the youngest Nobel Prize Laureate in history. She started primary education in her hometown and graduated with a B.A from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. She is also the founder of Malala Fund (an international non-profit organization).

She married Asser Malik in 2021. She received numerous awards in her life including Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. She is the only Pashtun and the second Pakistani to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. She wrote many books on female education like I Am Malala: How One Girl Stood Up for Education in 2014 and My Name Is Malala in 2022.
