Michael Porter is an American academic. He was born on May 23, 1947. He started his early education in the US. In 1969, he received his BSE degree with honors in aerospace and mechanical engineering from Princeton University. In 1971, he completed his MBA from Harvard Business School, and PhD in 1973 from Harvard University in business economics. He wrote more than 20 books and different articles on different subjects. He is also the 6-time winner of the McKinsey Award for the best Harvard Business Review article of the year.
