Adam Smith was a famous Scottish philosopher and economist. He was born on June 5, 1723 in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. He died on July 17, 1790, at the age of 67 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was well known for his The Theory of Moral Sentiments in 1759 and The Wealth of Nations in 1776. He started early education in his hometown. He completed his graduation from the University of Glasgow and Balliol College, Oxford.
