George Saunders is a famous American Professor and Writer of essays, novels, short stories, and children’s books. He was born on December 2, 1958, in Amarillo, Texas, U.S. He received his early education in his hometown and completed his B.S. from Colorado School of Mines and M.A. from Syracuse University. He married to Paula Redick in 1987. He received numerous awards in his life including the MacArthur Fellowship in 2006, the PEN/Malamud Award in 2013, and the Folio Prize in 2014.
