Jack Dorsey, co-founder and former CEO of the platform, broke his silence on the employee layoffs by the new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk.
Cheek Dorsey wrote on Twitter that there have been strong people in the past and present at Twitter, they will find their way in the future no matter how difficult it is.
The co-founder wrote,
“I realize that many employees are angry with me, I take responsibility for the situation, I promoted the company too hastily for which I apologize.”
In another tweet, he wrote that I am grateful to everyone who has ever worked on Twitter. I can understand all that.
It should be remembered that Elon Musk fired many important employees as soon as he bought Twitter. Elon Musk’s actions are being heavily criticized on social media. Several prominent figures have closed their Twitter accounts in protest.
